Q? What is the cost to host an event at St. Basil's Cultural Centre?
 

A. Our rates vary depending on the type of event, number of guests, features requested and the catering style of the event, if applicable.

Q? How many hours can I rent the facility?
 

A. Our rates are based on a 7-hour event. Events can last until 12 AM (midnight) at the latest. Please inquire if you have a special request for your event.

Q? How many guests can attend an event at your facility?
 

A. Our Centennial Ballroom can seat 515 guests. Banquets with a dedicated dance floor can seat 400-450. Conference Theatre setups can seat 500. Trade shows can have 50-60 tables. Events of smaller sizes can accommodate other decor features or seating configurations.

Q? What A/V equipment does the SBCC offer?
 

A. We have the following: microphone, podium, surround sound audio system, stage with curtains and lighting, conference projection screen and wireless internet is available.

Q? What is required to hold a date for an event?
 

A. We require a small security deposit to secure your date. Please submit an inquiry online to check if your date is available.

Q? Where will our guests park?
 

A. The SBCC has the ability to utilize our own paved lot, as well there is street parking in the area.

Q? Does your facility allow us to choose our own caterer?
 

A. No. The SBCC does have our own kitchen and staff who are more than willing to work with you to determine a menu that will suit your tastes, as well as your budget. View Catering Information Here >

Q? What does the rental fee include?
 

A. The SBCC provides tables and chairs enough for your guests, use of the foyer, coat check, parking lot, and the use of our A/V and sound systems, kitchen service and wet bar service.


We also have linens, table skirts, chair covers, glassware, dinnerware, and all other materials necessary for an additional fee. 

All services are subject to a 5% GST and a 7.5% service fee. Gratuities are graciously accepted but are at the sole discretion of the client.

Q? Do you offer long-term rentals?
 

A. Yes, we offer weekly, monthly and long-term rentals. Please send us an inquiry for special rates >

Q? Can we bring our own alcohol?
 

A. Yes, you can bring your own alcohol, however we provide bartender(s) who serve your alcohal to you and your guests. The cost of hiring the bartender(s) is incurred by the renter.
